So there has been a lot going on in our life here lately......lets see.....School started up.....so that has been keeping all of us busy........definitely hard to get back in the swing of homework, spelling words and stuff. And it seems like Caitlyn (2nd Grade) has twice as much homework as Jevin (3rd Grade) - It's crazy! I feel bad for her sometimes! And Kirsten has really started talking non-stop - she is really starting to remind me of her sister! It cracks me up!! She acts so much like Caitlyn did when she was her age. And Kirsten is almost 3 years old....which made me think that when Scott & I started dating Caitlyn was 3 years old and Jevin 4 years old - man how time flys - because that just seems like yesterday! Well - Caitlyn has started taking Cheer/Tumble classes at Central AR Cheer and she absolutely loves them! :) And I am happy that she has something to do once a week that is fun for her to enjoy. Jevin has his sports that keep him busy....although we have learned this year how dangerous they can be too - during his summer baseball he broke one of his permanent teeth in half which caused an emergency dental visit on a Saturday evening....and while we hoped that would be all the injuries he would have from sports we should have known better.....he played flag football in August and well....low and behold....in the middle of one of his game a kid pulled him down and remember this is suppose to be flag football....and his coach brough him over to me and his finger was big time swollen.....so he got an ice pack and went back to the sidelines....we were thinking it was probably just jammed really bad....and then I turned around and he was back out there playing....nothing stops him....he has a love for sports! :) Well...I took him to the doc the next day and it wasnt just jammed, he had broken his finger! So we put a splint on it and went on....but now that it has been 7 weeks later....it still is swollen and is growing back not straight.....so took him back to doc and they now think he will need surgery to fix it....just our luck! But he is in the middle of fall baseball season right now so we have decided to wait till after the season which will be November to do surgery...they will go in and rebreak his finger and put some pins in it. So we have that to look forward to....I guess I just better get used to this with a child that is so athletic and wont let anything stop him! I love him being athletic but not the injuries!!!
But other than that....life is normal....staying busy with the wonderful kids!!! :)
